Training and Qualifications

We encourage and make available a wide range of development opportunities from eLearning to internal curriculum modules and courses to mentoring to professional memberships. 

·       Internal Training: the Organisational Development team offer a range of internal courses linked to company wide needs that will support professional development, these are focused on soft skills and relate to areas of behavioural and business competency (for more information you will be able to see this on our Internal staff Internet and our Learning management system once you start)

·       External Training: you should have a conversation with your manager to identify and agree appropriate technical training in line with your development objectives

We also cover the cost of one professional membership (per employee) that is clearly relevant to the performance of the employee’s duties and responsibilities. 

Health and Safety

The health and safety of our people and the public is a priority for Transpower.  We are committed to making the company a leader in health and safety by achieving an injury-free workplace for our employees and contractors. 

As part of corporate induction, you will be given an overview of our approach to health and safety at Transpower.  As part of our office and/or site induction, you will be provided with specific information about hazards.

Health and Safety

Connetics is committed to providing a workplace which is safe for our employees, contractors, and visitors. As part of your induction you will be thoroughly briefed health, safety and wellbeing at Connetics including our HSE System. In addition, if the role you are employed for is field based, you will be trained and assessed to ensure you are competent to perform the task you have been employed to undertake.
